Bought this for my mom just because I thought it was cute and she is an elementary school teacher with a playful personality. She wears it as a night gown, though I don't think she is adverse to wearing it in public. It comes to just above her knee (she is 5'7). The fabric is pretty soft and comfortable, and it hangs nicely on her; neither clingy nor boxy. She gets excited about her "new jammies!" every night. So far it has emerged from several washes unscathed. Seems like a decent product; my mom and I are happy.
