The mat would be great but that sticker on the front is impossible to remove. When I finally got it off, it left glue all over - which I proceeded to remove (by rubbing it off with an eraser - a great gentle way to remove sticky residue). However, doing this rubbed off the color of the mat because the glue is so strong. Seriously, just stick it to the back of the mat. Pets should not be exposed to glue(This is Doug's girlfriend.) The mat itself is adorable but they put a large label in the upper right corner that leaves awful very sticky residue when the label is removed that won't come off. I tried soaking it several times, using dish soap, spray cleaner, and alcohol and it wouldn't come off (wasted a ton of time with that). I finally gave up and used my acetone-free nail polish remover that did remove the sticky stuff but it also removed the dye (which I knew it would do but was tired of dealing with the sticky stuff when washing the mat). What a shame because the mat itself is great. They wrecked it with that label though.It is so very cute but my pup is messy (thus the mat) and when this little (and it is small) mat gets damp, watch out. He slid down, I have slid down, the top is very slippery! It is cute but I will be ordering something different for his food and water mat. This does not work for us but it is cute!The sticker is on the front of the mat and there is No way to get that sticker off! It ruins the mat!This pet mat is plastic so is so hard and the dogs are afraid to put their paws on it as it makes a lot of noise, it seems more like a mouse pat than a pet mat, very disappointed with this product
